I currently teach in homes for charter schools and independent students of all ages. Class size is limited to 4 students per class. Classes are once or twice a month in 3 or 4 hour increments depending on the classes collective preference. The first project is a lined bag or tote that covers a multitude of foundational skills. Students attend class with the fabric of their choosing. Moving forward, each student works on their own projects with my advice in regard to skill level, at their own pace.
Beginning classes cover machine operation and safety, proper hand positioning, proper pinning and cutting techniques, seams, construction, etc..Machines are available upon request.

Please note, class formation is most successful when you are able to reach out to your own friend group or family members to discuss interest, location/host home, dates and times. The likelihood of me being able to place you and/or your child in a class with an opening that matches with your scheduling needs is very rare.
